Situation

During its 30-year history, Bader Rutter & Associates grew from a small startup into a nationally recognized player in business-to-business marketing services. But the agency’s old headquarters — outdated in design and spread across eight wings of the building — didn’t reflect that success. The move into new, state-of-the-art offices presented the perfect opportunity to integrate service teams and create a bold, fresh look — one that showcased Bader Rutter’s personality and nourished its creative talent.

Challenge

The agency wanted a dynamic, sophisticated environment that would make an impression on current and potential clients. Space design and layout needed to maintain privacy and reduce noise, as many employees were moving from private offices to new workstations. At the same time, the plan needed to be open enough to encourage teamwork and creative brainstorming.

Solution

OM Workspace collaborated with the agency’s interior designer to find furniture solutions that would realize Bader Rutter’s vision. On time, and on budget.

Working closely with Bader Rutter’s architectural firm, the OM Workspace team translated the design into furniture and fabric solutions for the entire office. The result: a cutting-edge look that drew “wow” responses from clients and fostered a more cohesive atmosphere.

The final Teknion and Krug office furniture selected included extra-large workstations with sound-absorbing panels that offered nearly as much room and noise reduction as private offices. To reinforce the bold aesthetic, more than 54 variations of workstation panels were installed using multiple colors, fabric textures and glass.
